Smackable gadget powers P2P violence online, reducing incidents of
actual friend-on-friend smack downs
Atlanta, GA – June 24, 2011 – RageGage, LLC, the leading manufacturer of rage-releasing devices, is thrilled to announce the availability of RageGage Connect, a free PC application for the RageGage USB gadget that enables users to “reach out and smack someone” on Facebook.
RageGage Connect is easy to use – just plug in a RageGage via USB, log into Facebook, and select an unfortunate Facebook “friend” to smack. Then smash away on the RageGage and the raw violence imparted on the unbreakable gadget gets transferred directly to the Facebook friend’s stupid, smirking face, complete with audio and visual stimulation.
After the virtual beat-down, users can share battered friend pictures on Facebook for the world to see and can also email wrathful images directly to smacked friends (or sympathetic onlookers).
“I got tired of the ‘Like’ button on Facebook – I usually need the exact opposite”, says RageGage inventor Ian Campbell, echoing the frustration of millions of Facebook users. “I wanted a ‘Smack’ button, but what we’ve put into RageGage Connect is even better… and much more gratifying!”
RageGage Connect also allows users to update their “RageLevel” on Facebook simply by smashing their RageGages – a useful feature to alert nearby coworkers of temper tantrums in progress so they can evacuate the area. Rage-aholics can even personalize how RageLevels appear on Facebook by creating their own Rage pictures and phrases.
RageGage Connect can be downloaded for free on RageGage.com. The company plans to release a Mac version of RageGage Connect in July.
