Now, ConnecteDevice is excited to announce that the cookoo™ watch is launching on Kickstarter. The cookoo watch is a wearable technology that extends your smartphone to your wrist. It’s a traditional timepiece with a high-tech twist to help you manage your connected life.
This watch uses Bluetooth® wireless technology to let you know what is happening on your phone in real time—even if your phone is out of sight. Your iOS or Android smart device may 
not always be at hand, but the cookoo watch is. Using Bluetooth SMART technology, it lets you know when you receive a call, text, Facebook message, calendar notification and more! The cookoo watch is compatible with the latest Bluetooth SMART READY devices such as the iPhone 4S, new iPad, HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy S3, with many more to come.
All alerts can be customized and prioritized based on your preferences via the Connected App™ so the cookoo watch will only display the information that you care about most. When a notification is received, the corresponding icon will appear on the face of the watch along with a discreet beep or vibration. For example, if you receive a Facebook message then the social networking icon will appear.
The cookoo watch’s COMMAND button can be configured with the Connected App. It allows you to find your phone, check-in on apps like Facebook®, tag your location on the Connected App’s map, or take a group picture remotely—with more features and app tie-ins to be added as the Connected App develops.
The cookoo watch also comes with these great features:
- Use the “Ack” button to mute the audible alerts or turn the vibrations on or off.
- Water resistant so you can wear it everywhere.
- Receive a reminder when your phone or tablet’s battery is low.
Most smart watches require daily or weekly charging; this is another area where the cookoo watch excels above the rest. The cookoo watch does not need to be recharged. You can enjoy the benefits of the connected watch for up to a year (depending upon usage) before replacing the standard button-cell battery.
The cookoo watch will come in a variety of colors: black on black, brushed stainless on black, blue on black, white on black, and green on black (special Kickstarter edition). It is expected to retail for $99.95 with blue and white color editions retailing for $129.95.

- Pledge $750 and receive 2 black on black cookoo watches, and a license to develop a Connected App
- Pledge $1,000 for the retailer pack and receive 15 cookoo watches (or $67/pcs) in any color (exc. Kickstarter edition), 5 posters, and one point of sale display
- Pledge $5,500 for the distributor pack and receive 100 cookoo watches [or $55/pcs] in any color (exc. Kickstarter edition), 20 posters, and 5 point of sale displays
- and more rewards at higher pledge levels
